i can't wait to see some reviews and some in-hand-shots as well as comparisons to RC4 and RC3
 
Well, I have a RC-3 and the RC-6 dwarfs it, lol For a bigger blade it is not that heavy at all, feels very nice in the hand, well balanced. Really not caring for the Molle locks, cannot get it to lock/stay on my belt. Any suggestions?
 
That looks sweet as hell! The thumb notch on the sheath is what i've been looking for in kydex sheaths!

The Molle locks won't lock huh? Never heard of that... I ripped out the center piece thing between the tabs, but I don't think that would fix your problem.
 
To be honest with you, we don't like the MOLLE locks on this knife either but until we find someone to do the 2-piece MOLLE back (and do it correctly) we have no alternate retention device to really ship the sheath with. I suggest lashing the sheath to your pack at this stage. In all honesty, it looks like the upgrade to this whole system will be a complete Eagle sheath with liner. Also, if you're in a hurry then SpecOps Brand has a sheath that will fit the RC-6.

They lock, but will not fit around the belt, lol

It's no big deal, I can just put the knive in my back.
 
I'm just wondering if anyone has ever tried Malice Clips instead of MOLLE locks? I've used them to hold pouches on my gear and they're more flexible and seem like they would be better suited to running a belt through, etc.

upon receiving my RC6 one day I have a few extra sets of short & long Malice clips...I will try it out...but as a back up I have a extra Spec ops sheath as well....
 
That's a good looking RC-6, Shaolin. I'm wishing I hadn't seen it, now. I still have my RAT-7 beater in 1095 and a new in box one in D2. The liners on the handle and the overall fit and finish on yours looks very good in those pics.
I'm still holding out for the SERE, but that RC-6 sure is tempting. :thumbup:
