That's kinda a tough one, lol The RMD has a smaller blade, but feels very nice in the hand, I really like the color of the blade and handle on my RMD. The RC-6 is bigger overall blade wise/handle wise/width wise. Also for my hand the RC-6 handle is bigger, the RMD just right. As of right now, I would take the RMD. The RC-6 would be a better chopper for it's size, but the RMD can chop as well. It's really hard to pick, but I made my choice.
 
In regards to the carry system I took your idea that came with the knife
I carry my RC-4 everyday and use the paracord with cord lock option
I even converted my RAT-3 to carry horizontally on my belt with the paracord
option hope this helps my 2 cents worth
