Well...It's Friday...

D.H.

Maybe you should amend your program to commit to buy what it claims. On two Fridays in the last month, you backed out of two knives that you claimed. That is not cool. It is disruptive to sales process, disrespectful of Andy & Ken, and unfair to other sharks who alter their choices because your computer program grabbed the ones they wanted, only to find out later that you posted a later manual override to back out of the purchases. Not cool behavior at all.

Phil

Seriously. I'll shark you a knife for $20.

EDIT: in case it isn't abundantly clear, that was a joke. I'm not sharking anything for anybody but myself.

But this isn't a joke: don't get butt hurt and judgmental. Not cool behavior at all.

I'm not sharking today, guys. This week's discretionary income is being used to pay for parking tickets, a sleeping bag, and a new Tenkara rod.

The waters will be free of robo-sharks.

Good luck to all.

This is just too inorganic. You need a return to a rotary phone and order sheets, like used to happen on the original Fiddleback Mondays. ;):D

You know, I'd be totally fine with that. Prefer it even.

Not for nothing, but... I know how to program. And, because of this, I don't use paypal if I can avoid it and I don't own a smart phone.

Thanks SJ......it certainly caught my eye today. With all the positive press on the Esquire, I decided to give one a try :D

I want to apologize to D.H. for the comments I made in post 2201 yesterday. I was out of line and too judgmental as you stated. I'll own up to that mistake in judgment. I hope we can put this matter behind us and move on to better things.

Being smarter than technology matters nothing if you don't act from your soul. It's kind of a rule of thumb around here. Glad to have you around and hope you find the knives you're looking for. Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks Phil. That's big of you. Consider it water under the bridge.

I'm really not here to piss in anyones cornflakes, man. I just dig Fiddleback knives.

To that end, for what it's worth, I can direct anyone who is interested to coding and programming resources. If I can learn to do it, then it ain't rocket surgery. Then we can all robo-shark.

There are plenty of people in this forum who know a ton more about knives than me. And I enjoy learning from them. So I'd consider it a public service or way or returning the favor.

Alternatively...you know that blue jean burlap Bushcrafter with the big grips that you have? I'll trade you another Bushcrafter for it. ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome, trestle.
