Thanks for trying Tony, I appreciate it! Too bad on the Karda, that's a great little knife. And yes, I had a very helpful shark today who scored essentially a grail Handyman for me. I've been watching for years for just the right natural/orange/natural knife and today it was revealed. I can't say enough about this community and thanks again to all who tried.

I also had a friend looking out for me, so the Karda is on it's way into my hands. I've come to enjoy the Friday event so much - you win some, lose many, but the game is exciting, the community on here is awesome, and it's just fun to be a part of it.

But now Abe is plotting! I'll be sure to ignore any and all posts coming from him just before the thread unlock on Fridays! :D

I did that once. Totally forgot about the 60 second requirement. Kicked myself, but like you say, live and learn.

Tony, I couldn't plot my way through a sheet of paper [emoji1]. Last time I tried was in school and ended up working against me.

I didn't even know there was a 60 second lockout! I appreciate the lesson friend, even though it worked against you. Sorry about that! And in regards to plotting - and school - when I finally buy you that pint (or 5), we can share our school failure stories. I'll need a bit of time to get through it all! :thumbup:

Good luck to all. My money's on the new production pukko this week. I ordered a carbide drill bit to try to punch a lanyard hole in it like the other production knives. Short of that, I guess maybe a locksmith and some diamond safe bits like my guys used to use to drill safes back on the carrier. Used to take about 10 bits to get through the GSA safe's carbide plates. Then you found out that they used the wrong template for the hole locations.... Ahh, life on the CVN.
 
Some great looking knives today! Sure glad I found BF, its good to know I`m not the only one afflicted by this illness!
