Yeah, I almost cried when I saw it... Perfect version for me, I love that handle and the grind. It would be a fun one to play with, but sadly the complete oposite of perfect timing...c'est la vie. Maybe I can catch it later on when I have more funds. It would be a good one to take to the smokies next week, but the paradox is that if I bought it I couldn't go to the smokies next week...and after screwing the family out of the two weeks we had planned in Florida this year spending the money on truck repairs so I can keep working it to death...I might not survive screwing them out of the long weekend in the smokies, and I gotta sleep some time![]()
Why? Why did that Esquire have to have orange pinstripes?!?
It appears the slyvrfalcen was a tad bit popular....

Robert keeps teasing me with it but will not price it. I'll start the bidding at $225. [emoji4]

I was thinking the same thing...
Tiny details make a big difference in the final decision between "buy" and "pass" for a lot of folks. Personally, I love the bi-color handle on the ED Karda today. Very cool looking set-up. If it was 3/32", it would be a buy for me. In 1/8", it's a pass. We all have our personal quirks.
It's a tough challenge every week for the guys at the Forge to guess which steel and handle combos will have people fighting to buy them. I think price point has something to do with people's decision to buy also. Some weeks the crystal ball is clearer than others to anticipate what will be in demand. If they got it 100% right every week, I would advise them to quit selling knives and open an investment advisory business to make a lot more money.

I can do orange, but lime accents are always a no go for me. White works most of the time, but what I have really been looking for lately are natural or OD liners with no accentsYou are right, and I agree with you. However, I would have loved it had it been natural and white, or black and lime green!
