Well...It's Friday...

Keeping things a bit summarized here and adding some more info for newer folks:

Options for landing a Fiddleback

1) Fiddleback Friday sales thread. A date-specific thread is created, a Preview posted about 1 hour early and unlocked at 3:00pm Eastern.

2) Post an entry in the Fiddleback Flea Market for WTB [knife] along with any specs/colors that you might desire (adding a note to email or PM you on the side to not clutter the Flea Market with conversation)

3) PM, email or call Fiddleback Forge to see if they have something you're looking for. They generally have some on-hand. No, you can't request something that will be in a sale thread.

4) Check on Dealer sites


Another good read is .. Get to know your fellow sharks. Feel free to introduce yourself while you're there.

Well Jules, there's a nice KPH and a Dropped Point Maverick up today. Not sure if there's a Kephart or if that's a Cub. Getting to handle some of your knives and adding those 3 models to my "must get list" may just cost me today. :D

Looks like that Kephart/Bear Cub? might also have the black wood burl? Like the earlier 5/32" steel Silverfalcon that Andy scored a month or two back. I'm liking the OD bolstered Protagonist/Silverfalcon and that cross cut stick handled Bushfinger looks pretty cool too.
 
Well I think I'm out this week... nothing tickles my fancy enough to buy... but if that sylvrfalcen doesn't sell right off the bat I may have to find it a home

FYI - there is a massive DNS attacking going on in the US right now affecting many sites. Our website is affected as is PayPal (and dozens of others). BladeForums seems fine, so hopefully no issues with today's sales other than possibly having to wait a bit before hitting PayPal to make payment.
 
Sometimes I feel like a stiff wind would take bladeforums down...

that dns hack is crazy ... some cvs stores are down too(I'm at work right now waiting for a system to reinitialize)
