Well...It's Friday...

Choppaman Choppaman me professing to feeling like a fool (and totally deserving it) isn’t something you’re supposed to “like”
Man, where’s the etiquette on this forum?
:)

That Nessmuk... One of these days a Nessy is going to be too pretty for me to pass up and I'm going to be forced to overcome my weird feeling towards that model.

WOW, if anyone would be so inclined to help me on the Hiking Buddy today. I will be eternally grateful. I have a 1400-1500 meeting that is not likely to be kind :(

Thanks,
Bill

Dang, that Bushboot is pretty awesome too! Good luck to everyone who's trying for one today.

If I've settled in from traveling by the time the thread unlocks I'll give it a shot for you. On our way from the airport now.

Sweet knives, but not the one I was looking for. :( I'll put my cards on the table--I was hoping for a Forager. Good luck sharks--I hope you score what you're hungry for!

I'll take Andy up on his offer and call the shop. Anyone know when is a good time to call?

Have a fun Friday and great weekend everyone.
Anthony

I like that Falcen almost as much as that blurple one pertinux pertinux has. ~P, you like blue more than purple anyway, you should buy this one so I could use the other in my hobbitish project later :D

First and foremost, the Sylvrfalcen is a terrific little pattern. Everyone should own at least one Stubby Scimitar.

... While part of me admittedly wishes my Blurple 'falcen was blue-r, and had white striping instead of green (who keeps deciding to pair dyed blue maple with Lime Green? I ask you), my 'falcen has attributes I prefer more, such as natural liner and pins, and a tapered tang.

Even more? I've carried and used my 'falcen almost every day since finally dialing in its sheath, and as is almost always the case, familiarity and ongoing experiences have consistently deepened my affection for this knife:

For the uninitiated, the above how my 'falcen mostly looks in real life, a subtle blue with purple undertones.

But, I have to get the light *just right,* or it shows up way more Purple in pictures-- to the point of initially affecting my enjoyment of the knife.

I solved that by spending more time offline. :D

With my Handyman, I gots everything I wanted (tang, steel width, handle, liner colors)-- an admittedly terrific feeling.

I'm okay with not getting that in every knife, tho' if this current 'falcen had natural liners it'd be a harder challenge. ;)

All of which to say: I'm going to love the one I'm with.
