Well...It's Friday...

Well friends take comfort in the fact that I won't be able to participate today it seems. However if anyone loves me please grab the KE Bushie for me. You will then have attained to being my bestest friend ever! I am serious but doubtful!

Here's a funny example of a problem that may have popped up today.

What if someone tried to shark that and called it the 'burlap bolstered KE Bushie"?

That actually happened last week, but I can't seem to find the example now.

Last week could have had the issue if someone said "I'll take the Karda" based on the pics, but the official knife description incorrectly labeled it as an EDKarda. Probably close enough that it wouldn't have caused a problem.

I don't envy Andy and Ken trying to sort through it all.

Mine!

Glad I stopped in here. Our preference and request for everybody is NOT TO EDIT POSTS for any reason. This trumps copying the whole description. Don't worry or feel the need to edit posts with a "withdrawn" or "removed" if somebody beat you to the knife. Do this only if you changed your mind and don't want the knife. If anything the post serves as a record and maybe you'll get 2nds.

We like the whole description to be copied for 2 reasons -
1. It makes it very clear for Everyone which knife is being claimed.
2. It streamlines things for us here. We don't talk all week about how great knife #7 is, or how badass #14 is going to be. We do talk about how sweet the grinds are on the EDC or the way the new handle material is coming out on the HB. The knives get #'d only when the thread is written, so when #12 is claimed we have to scroll back up and see what knife that actually is.

A minimalist compromise would be "14 Lacewood Sneaky Pete"

And most importantly .... please remember that you guys and gals are all awesome.

That truly was an amazing batch this week.

And thanks Ken for the clarification and explanation.

Is there a Bushie in this group? Maybe my eyes are failing me. I thought that bolstered burlap one was an Arete

I always mix those two up! This is why you have never seen me call something without the descriptions. I would be calling the wrong things!

Thanks Ken for the clarification. Might want to add it to the Law of the Sharks sticky.

Well, here we go again. BUT, the roads into my favorite work area are finally open again after a VERY LOOOOOOONG winter so I may not be here when they finally post up. Will just have to see how well mother nature cooperates :)

I won't be sharking for awhile (so I keep telling myself), so I'm staying relaxed today and looking forward to the window shopping. :p
