Doing good here on the coast. Well I'm actually working in Raleigh for the last year but I just got notice that I'm going to be going back home end of March to do a job in Wilmington so that will be nice. Been out of town 6 of the past 8 years.

I scored this one that hit the for sale thread.

That's a nice one - I bet with the false top edge and the tapered tang that the balance must make for a fast, light blade in hand.

Same here in Idaho - lots of snow melting this past week and it feels like we're turning the corner.

As someone who is not on social media, can anyone fill me in on what the status is with Fiddleback Fridays these days? Are previews still happening? I realize they aren't happening through Knife Outpost anymore, and that the podcast is apparently dead, but Is Knife Outpost done? I used to receive an email with FF previews, and haven't received one for a while. TIA. 👍

Andy is handling all the Fiddleback Friday sales himself now. He still drops knives every Friday on his website. He hasn't been doing any previews as far as I know. He no longer uses Knife Outpost and no more podcast.

Calling for 89* here in Raleigh, NC and little cooler at the coast where I will go home to this evening. This working out of town is getting tiring for this old man. Anyway hope yall have a great weekend.

The "romance" of the road life, does recede after a while. It did for me, at least, and just about all of my colleagues, too.

Its raining here in NC but its going to be a great weekend. We are having a celebration of life ceremony for my parents Saturday. Dad passed away Oct 2020 and my mom wasn't doing good. Dr said she probably wouldn't last more than a few months. Well being her she lasted over 4 years. She passed away Dec 2024. We wanted some time to get this service right as they have many friends and family all across the country. Going to be a great time with family and friends.
