Well...It's Friday...

Want to talk about frustration and aggravation? The knife I am waiting on showed up at the post office yesterday, two days earlier than expected delivery, and I couldn't leave because I was over-seeing the roof work on the workshop... I know where I will be as soon as they open tomorrow :)
 
Happy Friday morning all you fellow addicts. Just a few more hours until another round. Can't wait to see what Andy has in store for us this week.

Yep, happy Friday! I wonder what I can't afford but will try to think of a way to afford anyway this week :)
 
Good gracious...not again. Taking the wife and kid to D.C. this weekend. I will have to stay busy outdoors all day to resist. ;) Maybe a new axe head will arrive in the mail for a distraction.

I think it might be an addiction when you have to implement manual controls on yourself?

Yep, being in a new northerly location the plan is to pair the new Recluse with a small ax for woods bumming and hunting. Thanks for the reminder, I'll distract myself pricing axes...while I wait to torture myself :)

Me too :) Sadly I won't have the funds for the GB small forest ax I really want for a bit...so I'll have to see what my options are. I may just go with a Council boy's ax for now...
 
I have picked Gransfors Bruks axes up in stores... WOW! I work with Boy Scouts and always need a couple of axes... that's my excuse to have more than 1! ;)
 
get an old Plum axe, they are great and can be had for cheep. It may need a new handle and a little TLC.
 
I think we're being punished. This is a fiddleback time out. I blame Mistwalker. For absolutely no reason

I was there Wednesday and he had handles on the guild knives... all looking good. His new apprentice was doing some fine work and it seemed like there was another batch around there......hmmm
