Well...It's Friday...

show knives... nice models for sure.

on another note, can someone take a few photos of the booth and all. Or a video, it would be nice to see how it all looks like.

Cool, looking forward to seeing the ones you pull from the Guild Show table! I hope the show is going well for you! Thanks for the warning though. After a conversation I had yesterday I am sort in a hurry to do some unusual (for me anyway) testing and data collection today, and was wondering if maybe it should wait till later. The last few months have been really hectic for me. I have been in a pressure cooker, and I have buried a LOT of stress to keep it hidden from the family. Now I think while the little one is at school and the wife is gone for the day, it will be therapeutic for me to see just what it takes to break an unfamiliar steel, and see just how many times I can break it. Good luck with the show man.

Mist,
I have used the SFA for several years and love it but my wife just bought me a Scandinavian Forest Axe as a gift and I have to say that my SFA will be staying home alot now. Essentially the same bit with another 6" of haft, it really makes a difference.

That said, with your handiness...... for a thin edged crafter, I would find a vintage Plumb carpenters hatchet and mount on a 20-22" used/reclaimed handle. I am messing with the same now. For a small axe for felling/bucking, I would again go vintage boys axe or Council Tool boys axe(I have not used this one but flks that know axes better than I recomend it highly).

Does anyone know if Andy will post a Fiddleback Friday today, or will he just put some knives up this evening, like he mentioned?

It's really hard to get my work done when all I can think about is pretty little knives....... and some pretty big knives
