Oh BOY!!! THANK YOU JERRY!! The parang is one of my favorite tools and my go to for heavy duty work!!! I feel like it's Christmas all over again!!! I don't know how I'm gonna do it but I am sooooooo in for one of these. I'm hoping for an 12 to 15 inch convexed blade that weighs between 19 and 25 ounces. But whatever is released I'm getting. Wow...... How am I going to function for the next 48 hours....

Hmmmm..... Contrary to former posts on wanting smaller blades, this actually has my interest. I have a parang-ish knife that I got from Bark River, that contrary to what everyone has always said about patangs, I hated. It seemed it has a sweet spot about a quarter-inch long so that it vibrated horrendously every strike. Blade was nice and sharp, though, so I keep it around for the odd job of splitting the pelvis when butchering deer. The sweet spot goes through little bony parts with no problem. I chalk up the vibration to a design fault of the BRKT design. I would bet Busse's will be better.

Oh, and Tinfoil Hat Timmy... It looks like you're gonna be screwed this week.
