Went to "Camp" today/ Interesting shelter find

In Edmonton i have found little camps like that one with warning signs in place, beer bottles, liquor bottles, condom wrappers and needles all in parks where you walk your dog or take your kids on a nature walk.

People are sick. Finding places like that anger me to no end. I usually take pictures and send the location and pictures to the police.

My stomach turns when i see places like those mentioned. I found a tent with cigarette butts everywhere, clothings, boots, and liquor bottles one time at a major park here. I climbed a near by bluff and watched for hours thinking it was just kids. After no one came around i snuck in with the Junglas and opened the tent to find human scat, clothes, cigarette butts and an unbearable stench.

this world is creepy.
 
Shelter? That begs the question, if a bunch of wood provides shelter from neither rain nor wind, is it a shelter at all?

Shelter from observation/detection could well be the reason for the "walls".

As to the roof, someone posted about it previously, but i'll reiterate as i recall. The corded "roof" supports would easily manage a cheapy nylon tarp to keep rain off.
