Which is a place I rarely set foot in. My wife is a Christian, but is a twice a year churchgoer. Her mother sings in the choir. I decided to get my cleanest jeans and white T and leather vest on... and go to church. The wife was catching up on work at home so it was just me. All tattooed up with a handlebar mustache. I heard something that made more sense later that night. So, my wife and I prayed and I accepted Jesus. I just had to share this because it's amazing.

Welcome Brother! You're in for an amazing ride. Savor the Blessing.

PS I thought handle-bar moustaches went out with bell-bottoms. <Chuckle>

Very cool. Just remember, you don't change overnight - give it some time, and cut yourself some slack. It's the long run that matters.

Welcome brother in Christ! Its awesome that you accepted Jesus into your heart. Its the best decision you'll ever make in life :)

That's great.

Just be strong and vigilant and remember God's not expecting perfection.

Find yourself a good wise older man of God to help you understand what being a Christian is about. I'll give you a hint. It's not about rules, it's about relationship.

How does Jesus feel about smoking pot?

"Give unto Ceasar what is Ceasar's"

(NIV) 1 Peter 2:13-17
Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, [14] or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. [15] For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. [16] Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. [17] Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.

Great news Charlie Mike!
Just remember the two greatest commandments. The Sadducees and the Pharisees were both trying to trip up Jesus with various questions. Finally the Pharisees came to him and asked about the greatest commandment. This is awesome and what I TRY to live by.

34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

If you can live your life by these two Principles you will be a righteous man. Of course I fail often. It's really hard to love your neighbor sometimes:o

Have fun! But consider the consequences of your actions on your neighbors in every action. Everyone is your neighbor.

Congrats! Its the best decision I made years ago. I never looked back and it has only been good for me.
Jesus didnt turn wine into coolaid.

This is fantastic news CM! Years from now you will look back and see what a difference accepting Christ can do. But remember, there will be many tests along your way. Don't expect life to be all roses from here on out.

Keep the Faith Brother!

Congrats Charlie Mike, I am sure you will find yourself feeling better and looking at life in a new way.

This is one of the best choices you could ever make.
