Western Maryland Knife Groups?

I'm gonna throw Oct 29 or Nov 5 out there for all to consider.

As far as the place - I know Edgeworks all too well. There are some decent places to eat along Market Street, and collaborating along the Carroll Creek in the Fall ain't too shabby either. I'm not too familiar with the BBQ places mentioned but all I need is an address. I'm all about BBQ!!

So - what say you?
 
Okay, I'll mark the 29th and the 5th on my calender, in pencil, and we'll see if the rest of the guys can make it. Once we settle on a date and time, we'll figure out the eatin part of it.

If my nephews' birthday party isn't one of those days (I think it is the 22nd), I'll be there. If everyone subscribes to this thread, it would be easier to keep track of.
 
Long ways to drive, looks like maybe 175 miles for me, but I still may try to make it. I think either the 29th or 5th might work for me,, The 22nd is out . Thanks guys, Just keep me in the loop.

Okay, I'm marking the 29th on my calender. Noonish is good too.

Now we have to decide on BBQ and where. Chubby's in Thurmint is a really long haul for some, so we should try to keep it in Frederick proper, close to Edgeworks. There's all kinds of places on Market street. If some like Tex-Mex, La Paz is walking distance from Edgeworks. Just an idea. I'll vouch for their beef burrito!:thumbup:

I'll be easy to spot, look for the white whiskered guy in a khaki bucket hat and a rustic walking stick in hand.

How about meeting noonish on the sidewalk in front of Brewers Alley on North Market Street (which is about one block south from Edgeworks). There is a parking garage immediately behind / adjacent to Brewers Alley.

As far as eats - I'm open to whatever the group decides - but I guess we should get somewhat of a head count so no one ls left waiting.

I'm seeing Silenthunterstudios, Jackknife, Dttomcat, myself, as confirmed - there were several others earlier in the thread that expressed interest.
 
I'd love to meet up with you guys. I have too double check with the wife, but if I'm free the 29th, count me in !!
 
I'm in Silver Spring.....I don't get to Germantown or further north very often, but if anyone's in the Metro area I would hang out, grab a beer or coffee and talk knives.
 
I'm less than ten minutes from you, dude. I'd be happy to give you a ride to the meet up. Let me know. We'd be headed just a little north of Germantown.
