I'm going to give it as shot as well, even with the long drive, I'd love to meet some of you guys, I'm sure it will be a great learning experience for me. I as well will need some directions, I'll know for sure sometime next week, and will stay in touch.. Thanks

We are going to meet at high noon on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant called "Brewers Alley". The address of Brewers Alley is 124 North Market Street, Frederick MD 21701.

There is a Municipal parking garage immediately behind Brewers Alley, and there is metered parking along North Market Street.

I think the plan is to meet in front of Brewers Alley and as a group decide where we would like to eat. There are several options within walking distance of where we will be gathering.

Also, Edgeworks is one block north of where we will be meeting, for those that want to visit an awesome brick and mortar knife store. They have an impressive selection of folders, fixed blades and accessories.

If the weather is nice, Carroll Creek is a nice place to visit and walk along the creek. It is a few blocks down the street from where we will be meeting.

There are also a few places to grab a beer.

Big picture directions - coming north - Rte 270 to Rte 70 to North Market Street exit. Take North Market Street north into downtown Frederick.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
 
I thought it was you. Maybe another MD person. Either way, I'll buy you a beer. And I will have one only, with my lunch, because I'll be driving.
 
I took my daughter up to hershey park for the weekend and stopped in at edgeworks on the way back. Great store and a really nice town to walk around. If I can get away this weekend I might come up and grab a beer if that's alright with you folks.
 
So is the 29th set in stone? If so I would love to meet you guys there at noon. Funny, I was just in Edgeworks on Friday and ate at Brewers Alley too! Sounds like a good time!

It might be a good idea to get a final head count so we know how many people we're waiting for before we get moving.
If I knew how to add a poll to the thread I would. It would make it easy to keep track. Anyone know how to do this?
