What model Brous is that? Really liking it.
A Wharncliffe blade has a straight cutting edge. A lot of the knives pictured don't. No matter what the manufacturer calls it, without a straight edge it's not a Wharncliffe.
Myself, I'd recommend a Great Eastern Cutlery Wall Street. It's got the blade, it's a really good looking knife, and it's a lockback. Even better, it's a much nicer knife than anything short of a custom, and the price is less than many of those other recommendations. It's a knife you'll actually use and carry long after you realize how silly most of those "tactical" designs are.
it's more modified sheepsfoot
Did you own the 1st yojimbo?definitely take a look at spyderco yojimbo 2,

Wouldn't necessarily agree, you can still Pierce to start a Cut. The Curtiss that OP wanted to replace is no wharnie but a sheepsfoot imo so I think both are fineSpydiechef is a sheepfoot.
+1 sexy knife that one.Emerson Seax is new offering in 2018 if you're ok with Emerson fit and finish on knives for $250.
Thats a zt 0392wc, the wharncliffe blade version of the 0392. There's also a purple and black version of it, which is more commonly available on the secondary market. What is the knife on top
