Wharnies are my favorite

I love the Wharncliffe blade and have carried a few over the years.

I carry this one when "dressed up":

I really only like Wharncliffe blades on my pocket knives. The modified Wharncliffe from KSF is the best blade, IMO. I do enjoy the Rope Blade almost as much. I have 2 pocket knives that aren't some type of Wharncliffe, and I just don't like them as much aesthetically or functionally. I do prefer single blades, but don't mind a pen blade every now and again to accompany the main blade.

Those are great, Ron, especially that CV! Any idea when Case they stopped making them?

Barrett - Thanks for the compliment. I am a Copperhead connoisseur and I have not seen a new one made after 2012. That is when Case put them in the "Vault". The CV model is a 2008. :D

I also have quite a fondness for other Wharnies such as this Tidioute Viper 47 Osage Orange.:D

Very nice, Ron. If I'm not mistaken, 2012 was the year they stopped making the CV Swayback Jack, as well. Seems like some terrible decisions were made at Case that year.

I have a 47 Viper on reserve for the upcoming production run. Really looking forward to it. :D
