  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What’s everyone listening to tonight?

Versions of Blue Oyster Cult - "Don't Fear the Reaper."

Original:

Doom Metal, Candlemass

Soft version - Keep Shelly in Athens

Not tonight but I spent the weekend listening to the "Neon Nights" playing 1990's C & W. The fest was in in Elkhorn WI. Friday night was headlined by the immortal Wynonna with opening acts by Mark Wills, Aaron Tippin, Colin Raye and Sammy Kershaw. Saturday's headliner was the great Trace Adkins and openers were Eddy Montgomery, continuing the Montgomery/Gentry tradition and brother John Michael Montgomery. For us it was the 12th time for Trace, 4th for Wynonna and 2nd for Montgomery/Gentry.

Going down the YouTube rabbit hole...so.... Halestorm, The Hu, Lindsey Stirling, Disturbed, Diamante, Bad Wolves, Godsmack....
