What’s your “1 more” knife?

In the UK with our crazy (it now seems) new custom "rules" importing a US made knife is all but impossible. Otherwise I've love a Busse or Carothers knife.

Otherwise I've my eye on a beautiful large Bowie in 80crv2 (a favourite steel for me) with locally sourced walnut handle by a UK maker who does everything by hand.

A Microtech Star Wars OTF. My lgs has the Jedi Knight Ultratech as well as two Stormtrooper Exotechs.

That sounds like irony: but I LIKE it! 😎👍
"Structured impulse buying"... imagine that! 😁

Another SHF... or maybe a Shiro? Or an Olamic one-off Wayfarer classic? Or a nice kukri! Or a Burger possibly!? Or possibly an Andre Thorburn? Or a Busse chopper!
....
Idk

The only correct answer to ALL of them is, "Yes"!

It works great! At the bottom of my knife files is a fluid list of the 25-30 knives I really want, all researched, along with their prices at a few outlets; as well as a sub-list of filler knives as add-ons or minor purchases. It keeps the process focused on the ones I want the most and if there's a sale I can see how much of a sale it is, so there's less delay in pulling the trigger.

Anyone ever seen the movie mountain men where they are talking about trapping beaver. And he says the beaver are so thick they will fight over who gets to be caught in the trap “pick me, pick me!” That’s the way knives are when I attend a store that sells them.

Rotten evo 3.0 preorders should start being filled soon. There’s my one more

There never is a one more" knife.

There is always "the "next one" or "another one".

I mean . . .who is counting?

That is actually a tough question.

I think my one more would end up being a Michael Raymond.

And even that is a pipe dream.
Excellent choice. I had the chance to handle one at a previous blade and couldn't bring myself to pick it up because I knew how much it was worth. My choice would be a Rexford custom. Another pipe dream, haha.

Yup, Rexford Injection is second on the list and Ron Lake being the third.
