What’s your “1 more” knife?

Almost off-ttopic, but related"

If "one more" knife is a domestic issue, and I recognize that it could be . . .this is a true story (I swear!)

I knew this guy through an acquaintance who decided that he wanted to buy A Remington 700 BDL rifle in every caliber they were offered in, with his wife's strongly expressed disapproval.

So he bought one and mounted it in a rifle vice on his workbench along with a boxed scope and rings laying there.

When he bought the next new rifle, he went ahead and mounted the rings and scope, put it into the safe and set up the "new: rifle the same way with a boxed scope and rings.

He is said to have done this over and over for several years and she thought it was still the same rifle . v. .well maybe.

If I could only add one more knife to my collection I think that I would want a CRK Mnandi with a damacus blade and carbon fiber inlays.

So many brands and models I’ve never heard of. I’m real out of the loop.

Like you JM2 , I also like the older more traditional knives made with natural materials if possible. Also like yourself I would like a really nice stag handled Bowie / Fighter style knife with a five inch handle slightly downward curved with a well forged quality carbon steel seven inch blade . It would be nicely finished off with a thick quality brown leather sheath decorated with leather tie tassels with that feel of the old Western mountain men . Failing this I wouldnt mind an SOG 2.0 Bowie made with a carbon steel blade with a quality leather brown sheath !

Why I chose to put this in general I’ll never know. I guess in my mind, one more surely would mean a traditional type.

Interesting replies though. Thanks everyone for sharing.

My next; but not my last: Cold Steel Recon One. Somehow this iconic model, never made-it into the collection.

My "Just one more" is always the one I'm lookin at...
And I lie to myself until I buy it! 🤣

I don't know about this question. I don't need another knife and have no solid justification for another knife, but I know that eventually I will buy another knife, and another, and ...
What I'm interested in and have some small justification for buying:
1. A LW Paramilitary 2, if and when it is manufactured. "Extra points" if they make it in magnacut, Cruwear, Rex45, K390, or something else I have an interest in.
2. A Tenacious or cheap foreign knife like Civivi or Sencut to carry when I'm hiking and camping so I don't risk losing a more expensive knife. These days I usually do 3 or 4 long camping trips to Colorado or Utah and I'd hate to lose a good knife somewhere out in the middle of nowhere.
3. A good sized outdoor knife for my camping trips, along the likes of an ESEE 6, BK7 or BK9. I don't know that I really have a need but I always want to be prepared so that gives me some small justification.
