I'm gonna say that the problem there is with your pants.

When you're wearing Duluth Fire Hose pants, you can carry any folder you want to carry, and a whole lot more besides.

OK, I admit I'm living pretty rural these days.
 
I prefer the Manix 2 for EDC.
But if I was heading into the unknown: I'd carry my Military model.
 
Manix 2 is almost always in my pocket but I just got a Gayle Bradley that will see some pocket fine here and there.
 
GB2, all day, no competition! Military is a home office package opener, Manix 2 is too wide for my office carry. Pattadese and PM3 are frequent carries.
 
The largest spyderco I carry currently is a SS CE Police. The long blade in a very slim solid package makes this one of my favorite knives to carry.
I have moved away from large or overbuilt folders as I get older. With my current profession I carry a lot of other gear so my knives tend to be on the lightweight or slimmer side now.
I have a Military somewhere that I havent carried in years due to its large size. I have found most of my cutting needs can be easily accomplished with a mid sized knife. The Police is the largest I am willing to carry these days.
 
So... I'm not sure it qualifies as "large," but my EDC for the past few months has been the Matriarch 2. I have to qualify that the "big" knife I carry is purpose-served, and intended for defensive use only (I have smaller knives for mundane cutting tasks).

My previous "large" knife was the Superhawk, but I semi-retired that one after I got the sense it had achieved some sort of quasi-"collectible" stature... Still love that 'Hawk... 🤔🙂
 
I have the Manix 2 XL and the Yojumbo, both great large edc knives. The Yojumbo is surprisingly thin in hand and pocket.
