What’s your favourite Handle Material?

I used to like a bunch of different materials like exotic woods, carbon fiber, ram's horn & of course titanium, but for the past year or so I am loving brown canvas micarta. I love the way it gets darker the more you use it.

For me it depends on the knife and its function.
For custom hunting knives I like stag, ironwood or some other woods, maybe polished paper micarta. For fixed blades to be used I like polished linen or canvas micarta. For folding knives I like polished paper or linen micarta or textured G10.

I rather like Textured G10 or Micarta.
My favorites are brass fittings/frames and either bone, antler or hardwood handles. Yes, I am old school and traditional! My Gerber FSII had a brass frame and hardwood inserts in the handles. It provided a comfortable grip but there was the "weight penalty" as compared to modern folders with non-metallic or lightweight aluminum alloy frames.
