What’s your wish list look like?

Andre DeVilliers Lockback Impi -I hope I got his name right.

Heretic Knives Wraith -There are about sixty versions of this. A non-flipper, plain blade without too many shouty colors would do it.

Busse Ergo Badger

Busse Game Warden 2

Filip de Coene (Ensizen) Explorer

Emerson Mini A-100

Laconico Blast

Some of you might have seen how... comprehensive I was about making and curating my list of knives. This smaller (about 1/10th of the full list) catalog are the ones that continue to hold my interest, and continue to be too expensive or hard-to-find.

Yes🤣
I am letting some go that I am not using, however there are constantly some that get my attention.
So on the way to me presently:
Lionsteel M5 in 3V
Demko Armiger 4

Have on order: Chris Reeve Backpacker

Plan to get soon:
Demko USA Armiger 4 MagnaCut (orange)
Demko USA Freereign clip-point 3V
Spyderco PM2 MagnaCut
Spyderco PM3 MagnaCut
Spyderco M2 MagnaCut
Boker USA Backcountry
Volunteer Knife- another 3.25 and Kephart (and any new models they come out with)

Would like to get a few from some other makers on these forums.

Lists are trouble. All I wanted was a Carothers EDC. This was several years ago so I started to follow his subforum and I finally got my edc model but it was my 5th Carothers knife 😳. Of course while I was checking that sub forum I had to check others and a few dozen knives later here I am. Far poorer but much happier for the hunt. Perhaps I to need to focus more on photography and less on the kill (so to speak)

I am looking for a mid-high tier EDC flipper with stag handles. Simple request but I have yet to see one - aside from full custom.

Brad Zinker is probably your best bet in that department. Looks like he’s made a few that have sold on the secondary for $500-$1000

One website shows that they’ve sold 26 of his that (I think) match your criteria since 2018. There is at least one available on that site right now.

Thank you I will keep a lookout!

I wish the Buck Range Pro would show up in Canada. I also wish that someone would make a Marbles Woodcraft replica, preferably in Magnacut.

I've been on the hunt for a knife made by a PA maker, Kirby Bletcher. He's been out of the game for a while now.

It's a long shot, but I'd love to find one second hand.

I try to limit myself to two / year:

- BRKT Mountain Man with gold-green elder burl handles, copper pins, must have for kitchen use
- damascus Sebenza (maybe a small one)
- still want a ZT 640
- a larger (survival/camp knife) CPK, not sure which one
- also want to try a Mnandi and Imamba, they look like brothers from another mother.
+ must keep an eye on Spyderco surprises

The list is long, but at the top I have been looking for a Gerber Mark II with a gold handle that is not tarnished. When Gerber introduced the Mark II in 1967, management wanted to make a limited number of a presentation version with a gold handle. Because the knives were serialized, every 100th knife would have a gold plated handle. Toward the end of production of these gold handled knives, they made them ever 50. The problem was that the gold was to be laid on their "Cat Tongue" handle surface. The "Cat's Tongue" handle was made by grinding steel so that the steel fragments hit and imbedded into the aluminum surface. This gave the handle grip the feel of sand paper. The problem is that the steel was prone to corrosion and rusting. Most of the gold that was applied over the handle surface was not enough to prevent the steel from corroding, so the gold handles look tarnished. Gerber did not make very many of these knives as they were 30 - 40% more expensive than the standard knives, and they did not sell very well. The picture is what most of these knife handles look like. Someday, I would like to find one in better shape. IMG_3735.JPG

You can get a Para3 Salt in Magnacut for less than $100 At Dack Outdoors right now. The DLC version version in magnacut is around for $206, but I'm gonna wait until that price comes down some. It's not going to be a rare knife.

Really, the last thing in the world I really need is more knives, but my current wish list is...

1. Benchmade 15017 Hidden Canyon Hunter S30V and 15032 North Fork S30V
2. Cold Steel Recon Tanto VG-10, Master Hunter VG-10, and Pendleton Mini Hunter AUS-10A
3. Reiff F5 Gen2 MagnaCut, F4 MagnaCut, and F3 MagnaCut
4. MKM Pocket Tango 3
5. ESEE Izula S35VN
6. a pair of custom Victorinox 93mm Alox pocket knives
7. Benchmade 1850 Intersect MagnaCut

To be clear, I do not need any of these, I just like them, so I want them.
