What 3 knives would you get first after losing your whole knife collection?

I would get a new Chris Reeve small sebenza insingo, a strider PTcc and a nice fixedblade- Smeagard SSG (Swedish custom).

And then I would be happy again :)

.1 Chris Reeve small sebenza insingo.
.2 Spyderco Stretch cf zdp
.3 Spyderco Chaparral cf

Well I would have to replace my most used a beloved knives first.
So although they my not be fancy, they would be my vary first ones I would immediately buy.

1. GEC TC Barlow
2. Ka-Bar USMC Fighting Knife
3. Spyderco Manix 2 Translucent BLUE.

Then I would immediately by a Vixtoinox Cadet in ALOX BLK

Strider SJ-75 Baby Huey (to replace my Echelon)
ZT 0801 ( to tide me over until my 0562cf preorder comes in )
Cold Steel Tuff Lite ( to replace the one I would have lost. )

That covers my main cutting needs: Small sheepsfoot/Wharncliffe utility knife (SJ75), fun but functional main carry (0801), and my all-purpose beater (tuff lite). Anything else is just for funsies.

Opinel no. 8
Becker bk11
Then I get to have fun looking for a traditional knife. Kabar dogs head... Csc canoe... Gec stockman or radio... This is where it gets hard.

Spyderco Delica ffg (super blue version if I could find one)
Spyderco military (cpm m4 version if I could find one that wasn't double retail price)
SAK. Probably hiker model.

Uh, did I lose my multi-tools too?

Lmao. Knife people are funny! +1!

Just using my gut feeling I would instantly go for ...

Small 2.75"-3.25" closed length traditional slippie.

Kershaw Skyline

Another folder in 154cm, vg10 or 440c

Very surprised about the Skyline as its the one knife that I would specifically buy vs my other choices.

From a utility standpoint it punches above its weight. Its what i grab for most out of my knife drawer.

Supremely simple design, easy to pocket, easy to sharpen and easy to open and close. A very easy going knife all in all.

1. ZT 0801
2. Super Blue Endura
3. GEC #15 single blade Huckleberry boys knife, clip blade w/ ivory bone.

Spyderco DelicaZDP-189
Spyderco Para-2 Sprint
Spyderco Stretch ZDP-189

Then I would slip in one of my Large Sebenza's just to round things out.!*^^ { never did learn how to count. }

Assuming my financial situation is the same as what it currently is, I'd buy Kershaw Blur blem for EDC and a Kershaw Select Fire because that's my work knife. Then I would save for a ZT 550.

Spyderco Gayle Bradley, Dragonfly ZDP and Caly 3 cf/zdp.

- Spyderco Military C/F M390;
- Victorinox Ranger or if that falls under my not lost multi-tools my ESEE-5;
- Opinel No.9.

If they were stolen I would take the insurance money and buy a Loveless New York Special, a Tony Bose Back Pocket and a Joe Calton EDC to use.

victorinox cadet, large sebenza, busse TGLB
Those three cover all the tasks I need out of a knife (besides kitchen duty).
The cadet for edc, the sebenza for anytime I'm expecting to use a knife, and the busse for camping/backpacking.

1) Victorinox SAK ONE HAND TREKKER.
2) OKC Blackbird SK5.
3) Condor Village Parang.

DomC :) ;)
