What $40 or lower pocketKnife should i get

None taken he thinks he knows everything about everything

He'll get a lot smarter when you turn about 23, in my experience.

For your knife question, I would like you to try a Kershaw with KVT, Kershaw Velocity Technology.

Our friend Dave aka Kershawguy @ kershawguy.com has the Nura listed, which is under $40 and has KVT -

KVT changed my idea of what a smooth knife was, and it'll change yours too I bet.

Great advice! Let me also suggest the Kershaw Strobe, model 1086. It also has KVT and you can waste the whole day flipping this thing. It's that addicting! Plus you get an awesome, all purpose blade shape with a beautiful stonewash. Also under $40.

Damn, that little thing must have flown off the shelves, huh?

Indeed!

Minigrip can be had for half of that at many retailers. I picked up a lightly used one for about $45 last week.

The Benchmade Mini-Griptilian is a great knife, it is a little smaller, but I have one and use it regularly - usually around the house and when travelling and have to check my knife in with my luggage, i.e. something I am not too worried about losing...but it is a great little knife!
