The light is aluminum with the most amazing machining and ano of any of the Al lights I own. Designed and hand built by one guy. The way it sits in your hand is perfect and your finger naturally falls to the on/off switch. And the light has my favorite feature, which is smooth ramping. Easy one handed operation, great moonlight, and the 2 AA sized batteries allow for heavy use for days before recharging.
