What about Knives and Flashlights?

I just can't see myself carrying much heavy iron around. My EDC Letherman Wave stays in a horizontal belt pouch. Works for me. If you do pack heavier, more power to you, and you have my admiration.

That's pretty much the same reason (among others) that I do not out armed with a pistol. I can't stand sitting while wearing one in any concealed fashion. Tried it out for a while with a blue rubber gun in several ways . . .no go. And so, I don't go places or do things tat increase the probability of needing one . . .or a serious knife either.

I have at times put together a non-gun kit built around a waist belt pack. That can get awkward too.

Who are you talking to and about what? This is a knife and flashlight picture thread. Let's see that painted randall and a big old maglite! 😁

Hi, is this Kizer Grazioso ? How do you like it ?
Indeed it is. A very elegant knife, though a bit heavy due to the copper bolsters. Nonetheless, it carries well. Opens with a nice, authoritative snap, too.

When I bought it, I couldn't decide which one to get: green micarta with brass bolsters or black G10 with copper bolsters. So I did what every knife nut does--I bought both. I initially thought the green would be my favorite, but I've really come to like the black and copper treatment. It is a very impressive knife.

A word about the blade. It has a slight recurve, which can make it a bit tricky to strop and sharpen. While I've not had a need to sharpen it, a Spyderco Sharpmaker would probably handle the task nicely.

If you have any further questions, let me know.

ok, I'll lighten up and go with it.

Can't do much with posting pictires here . . .its me not the site.

And I don't understand the reference to as "painted randall". Our son does have a Randall #16-1 that I gave him. It has been bead-blasted to a dull grey.
