what and where is the largest knife shop in the US?

In the Los Angeles area the best store is Ross Cutlery, Huge selections of autos-balis- all the name brand stuff- even rare knives- fixed blades, scissors, straigh razors, and on demand sharpening service. They're huge compared to Plaza cutlery and their selection is 2-3 times greater.

I visited SMKW last year while on vacation in the Seveirville/Gatlinburg area. It was a nice little treat to be able to visit such a large knife store while having so much fun in the area otherwise. I have been to Shepherd Hills Cutlery as well and they also take your knives to the checkout where you pick them up on the way out.

At SMKW my wife bought me a knife in an attempt to surprise me. She picked it out while we were separated in the store. I bought a knife too and I got to the checkout counter before my wife did. The clerk handed me two boxes with our last name on them and I knew right away what happened. I didn't mind but it kinda ruined my wife's surprise.

I live about 85 miles from Grand Prairie Knives. It isn't a huge building but there are a lot of knives in there for such a small place.
