I sent in a Bark River Highland Special with Impala scales. There were no pins - the scales were just epoxied on. In my letter to them, I suggested that they consider putting pins on these Impala scaled knives, because the glue just wasn;t enough. I wasn;t talking about my knife....just future pinless knives in general.
Two weeks later, I received my Highland back......with pins in the scales! It even looks better than before (((
