What are the "Big Five" to You?

Buck, Case, Western(I know I know but they have to be on the list)edit:If the company has to be in business I'll say Ka-Bar, Leatherman, Victorinox

Never had problems with any of 'em, so no CS experience.

From Best to Worst (and worst still being VERY GOOD) here are mine.

1) Kershaw
2) Benchmade
3) Spyderco
4) Buck
5) Victorinox

For me, I always see it as a big three between Benchmade, Spyderco and Kershaw...the lists so far seem to kind of confirm this, as at least two out of the three (alternating) are in almost every single list.

I guess it'd be (at the moment):

1: Kershaw
2: Benchmade
3: Spyderco
4: CRK
5: Strider

As per #2 and #3, I chose their order at random. They're about as close as two companies could be to me. Right now, I feel that Kershaw has the strongest overall lineup and so I gave them number 1.

Well, I base my list on NOT having to use their customer service...

SAK Victorinox at the top
Mcusta
Great Eastern Cutlery
Benchmade

Quite a few of the other famous names mentioned so far I HAVE had to send products back to with mixed results. If you don't have to use their customer service within 5 years, that's a very good company in my book. One which doesn't let sub-standard products out in the first place:thumbup:
