In my opinion, the basic Spyderco knives without which no collection of any kind will be complete, are the Endura and the Delica in FRN. Not everyone will agree with me, but they're wrong.
Everything else is just expanding on the fundamentals. Those two highly refined designs are to me emblematic of Spyderco. They are relatively inexpensive for what they are. They have been continually improved over decades. They are manufactured in a variety of steels and handles. They work unbelievably well.
