what are the pros and cons of edcing a fixed blade

I EDC an HI R-10 all the time. I have had more negative reactions from people when opening large folders than from fixed blades. One must remember that our centers of higher learning are populated by some of the most indoctrinated people on earth. Therefore it becomes our responsibility to provide a positive example in order toi provide a counter effect to overcome their opinions. They are stuck in ignorance.
