What are you carrying, right now.

CRKT Mirage - smooth and fast

Cold Steel PeaceKeeper2

Hey zzenz - where did u get the stingers - and how do u carry them - and what do u think of them , quality wise ?

I'm out of the habit of carrying weapons (living in Birmingham too long, taken the edge off), but I never go ANYWHERE without my Swiss Army knife. I use it too often not to have it with me at all times.

Emerson Commander P/S Satin, clipped, right front pocket.
Case Stockman, bottom of right pocket.
Gerber Multi-Tool (old style) left front pocket.

Interesting grouping aint it? traditional...neo-tac...and what I would call regular.

82mm mortar, Kevlar vest and a litre of blister agent :)

Sorry couldnt resist

I'm only carrying a Cover Folder, love this knife and can't seem to justify spending money on anything else dispite looking hard :):D

SB.1 tanto point, customized my me (satin blade, polished pivot and rounded handle edges).

TKa, TS finish, black/green G10 handles.

Light carry, just sittin' in the room...

SGT Fitts

A Calypso Jr. clipped in my right front pocket, and a vintage Scrade-Walden Stockman with beautiful jigged bone scales in the left front pocket.

Well, all I have on me right now is a mini-puukko that I wear as a neck knife.

My pants are draped over a chair arms length away, when I put them on I'll be carrying;

Kershaw Chive, as a money clip.
DeltaZ Osprey, clipped to my right front pocket.
Bob Ogg slipjoint folder in stag, right back pocket.
Washburn Damascus & Stag linerlock, in a G2 crossdraw belt sheath.
Carson M4 Stellite & Stag, in nylon belt sheath.

Sometimes I think this sounds like a lot, but then I look at some of you other guys and think it may not be enough.

Spydie Military, and Lum Chinese folder...and a H&K USP .45 Compact. Some nails, and flaging, change..prolly 70 cents or so. Big black marker, and a lighter.

A Spyderco Matriarch (the latest version, with black handle and the Boye cutout).
BTW, it's hot as heck, so I'm only wearing shorts.

cheap Pakistan one armed knife (don't wanna use the other'n as a screwdriver)

-Sm plain (left handed) sebenza clipped to left front pocket
-Spyderco Endura in right front pocket

Billy Ray, I'm assuming that you were asking me about the Comtech Stingers. I like them just fine. They're sturdy, light and leave quite a dent in wooden beams, metal folding chairs and the like. I've been told they leave quite a dent in the skull too, LOL.

The Stingers are pretty simple. They augment whatever skills you may already have. They align the fist properly, and can be used in a number of applications, from pain compliance to a full on fracus.

They are also extremely popular, I initially purchased three, and everyone in my office wanted one, and several wanted some to give to friends and loved ones. I wound up placing a second order for 40. There are a number of suppliers, but I'd recommend going to the source: Comtech . You'll find Stingers as well as a number of very good tapes on knife combat and other related matters.

Hope this covers all the info you were looking for. If you've got more questions, check my profile and drop me an e-mail.

Oops, almost forgot, they fit quite nicely in a pocket, though I'd attach a lanyard for ease of access. Also my color preferences are black, then clear. Not much for blue and green.
