Weird day - I emptied my pockets from my walk to the store - Buck 503 Prince - Spydie Native (S30V) - Vic 'Farmer'. My carry 110 is on my desk... must have forgotten it.

Bones 870

I have to admit that I am a made in the USA snob but I bought this knife on an impulse. I used the whole "I just want to see what the quality it like" excuse to justify it in my head. :D Plus my son was with me and he like the whole "tactical" look of it. :o

Much to my surprise I find that I really like this knife. Sharp. Solid. Holding it's edge.

Nice!

I didn't do the scales but whoever done them done a great job. I have carried a 307 for years. I carried my first one for 17 yrs till the tip broke, I got sick real quick and then sent it back for them to try and fix. They done an excellent job in repairing the knife. Tried carrying something else, 371 with red bone handles, 371 with wood grain handles. Just didn't feel right. So I bought 3 more 307's to have "just in case".

That's a cool knife!

I've been carrying the 110 on my hip most of the summer but have to watch the places I go. I take it out and put it under the rug in the backseat of the LR.

Going to church this AM found me putting my Ni-Ag bolster/Fiji wood/BG-42 'Custom Shop' 110 in my back pocket - dress up time - the usual Spydie Native in the LF. That was almost expensive... my bride saw the orange of the Fiji wood and noted how well that would match her car - an '05 SRT-4 in 'Orange Blast'. She then recalled I had just given her an orange Buck (... from Cabela's bargain basement... real bargain - saved my 110!). Whew!
