Pyramid Snow Cap ale here. Just got off standby at work. After not having a drink for week, it tastes even better than usual.

Im with you Resinguy. Whiskey straight. Especially in this cold weather. As far as the before dinner drinks, a Makers Mark old fashioned, no sugar, hits the spot.

Normally I'd agree but I finished the McCallan Cask last night and I wanted something a little sweet this evening.
A before dinner drink can be had anytime. Alcohol is alcohol after all :D

Gonna have to agree with you. Fruit goes great with breakfast......I may have to skip the whiskey and go for a bloody mary when I go fishing in the morning though.

As far as tonight, the Gentleman Jack is gone. Gave up on the emergency flask in the freezer and went for the Crown Royal instead. The crown is smooth, but I miss the flavor of the Jack already.

Me and some friends are unwinding from a very busy day and we are on our 2nd bottle of wine and I am getting a huge headache (This is why I drink Coor's Light):)

but feeling rather warm and tipsy which is cool........:p:p

Have a great night all......gotta go drink some more wine:D:D

I tried drinking some light beer once upon a time or two or three :thumbdn:

Every single time I drank light I ended up with migraines. Not fun and very painful :(

I may have to try Coors light though. I've heard (from someone here on the forum, can't remember who :foot:) it's like water so maybe I'll be fine :p:D

Have a great night, Amy-0

I volunteered at the World Beer Festival here in Columbia, SC so I don't really remember all of the fine brews I enjoyed. One that I poured was the Starr Brewery 'Dark Star Stout,' a nice dry stout with plenty of roasted malt flavor and a slight chocolaty finish but very clean on the palate.

I polished off a bottle of ORVW 10 Year 90 Proof this evening, and now need to figured out what to open tomorrow...
