- The Creature From Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve (G. Edward Griffin)

- Testament (David Morrell)

That's a John Birch Society book, no?

G Edward Griffin Is a founder of Freedom Force International. A group whose ideals seem to go along with the John Birch Society. Sorry for the off topic response. I just finished reading 61 hours by Jeffery Archer and am going to reread Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand for the hundredth time or maybe Fear and loathing in Las Vegas :D

wild at heart - it's cool. more people should know God really wants/expects/made men to be MEN.

client files - another road trip next week to a newly acquired book of business.

a little balance I guess.

Just finished up:

Death’s Acre: Inside the legendary forensic lab the Body Farm where the dead do tell tales, by Dr. bill Bass and Jon Jefferson

Extreme Fear: The science of your mind in danger, by Jeff Wise

Both were excellent books, Extreme Fear was a nice overview of your bain's workings during times of stress.

I'm now reading:

Mary Tudor: Princess, Bastard, Queen, by Anna Whitlock

Hitler's Willing Executioners by Daniel Goldhagen

So many books, so little time.

I have to agree that the Hunger Game books are great. I just finished Making a Killing-Captain James Ashcroft and Adventure Travel in the Third World...I am in the middle of License to Kill and am waiting to start the Lost City of Z-David Grann.

Just finished up the first four hard cover books of The Walking Dead. Graphic Novels (comic books), but pretty damn good. Planning on buying the next couple of books as soon as funds allow.

Before that it was The Rising, Dead City, and Dead Sea, all by Brian Keene, all decent zombie stories.

Just started re-reading The Dark Tower series again, but i really don't have the time to read a lot lately.

If audiobooks are to be counted here, I listen to a lot of the Deathlands series of audiobooks at work. Post apocalyptic Sci-Fi/Survival books, not for everyone, but i like them.

Probably going to start listening to The Talisman by Steven King and Peter Straub tommorrow.

A refreshing thread. It seems no one actually reads anymore. Glad to see there are others that actually take the time to go through a book than simply getting thier kicks on an internet forum.

I'm on book 3 of the Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost. It's called At Grave's End. It's a very good series.

A good book I read a few weeks ago is Billy Waughs Hunting The Jackyl . I originally came across the name Billy Waugh in one of RYPs books and the book was mentioned. To sum it up in one sentence; Billy was (is?) a covert ops guy starting in the 1960's all the way up to this war in Afganistan, and this book is his story.

Great book to pick up in your next Amazon haul for like $6-$7 I think..

I recently finished "I Wouldn't Start From Here" by Andrew Mueller. Its forward is written by RYP. It was a good read.

recent:

Misquoting Jesus (Things they don't mention much)
In God's Name (The kinds of problems you get into laundering drug money at the Vatican Bank)
Lost History (TheContras, cocaine, and reporting the news)
Dark Alliance (Robert Parry warned him, but ...)

Got burned out on non fiction and I'm currently blowing through Laurell K Hamilton's latest additions to her long running fantasy series of vampires and such on a new iPod Touch. The Stanza app is a nice e-book reader.

Skin Trade
Flirt
Divine Misdemeanors

I'm rereading an old favorite, John Steinbeck's "Cannery Row".

I've been feeling sort of nostalgic for my DLI days in Monterey lately. It's hard to believe that next year will be 25 years since I was out there.
