  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What are you using until the Tweeners arrive?

Moose, this is entirely your fault. I just ordered the Triflex Bushcraft 2010. Guess I'll give it a shot, and if I decide I don't like it (which I doubt, because I think you have a good taste in knives) I can always give it to someone. What can you do wrong at the price of ~30$?

Not to poke the bear, or Moose for that matter, but I'll cope with an ESEE4P or my river knife till then.

I am not waiting on a new Becker yet, but I am using these in the mean time. I do have a Bark River Bravo 1 on the way.
Top is by Lance Ockenden (UK) in 01,
second my ESEE 4 with 1095 steel
third is the re handled Busse CABS with INFI steel
last the Spyderco Bushcraft on 01

Nice knives fellas. Mannlicher, JV3 is also a big fan of the Spyderco Bushcraft. Is that one of the seconds that Sal put on clearance?

Theres more, but these are the pics I already have handy. Every one of these has had the snot beat out of it to get into my user rotation.

Great Fiddlebacks. I especially like the first two.

Thanks, that top one (Ladyfinger) is his "bird and trout" knife. Its actually my favorite carving knife. I have a few others that are convex ground, including those Barkies, and that Ladyfinger is by far the best of them all.

I have a Carbon V version of the Masterhunter with Micarta scales bk11/14. I just ordered a helle temagami and traded for an Esee 4

That Master Hunter in Carbon V is a great knife. Did you have it rescaled with micarta?
BTW, did you know that's the same steel that was used in the Camillus Beckers?
Camillus made the Carbon V steel for Cold Steel. Cold Steel got to call it Carbon V. Camillus called it 0170-6C.

I can haz Fiddlebacks?

Love this hunter, one of my most favorite customs. I want Andy's Bushcrafter though. Much want there.

But, if you a Bushcrafter on a budget, nothing, repeat nothing will craft your bush better, than the Mora Bushcraft Triflex. Love this knife, man, I love this knife. Me and Willis were talking about them last night. Good knives, great knives.

Did not know that. Thanks for the tip! no I bought it on the exchange. I came with an awesome kydex sheath and rehandled for $90 I jumped on it!

I don't think I have that many knives, but this 'ol Mora is what I would say to me in the tweener range. (kinda looks like my nesmuk set there :))

Guyon, yes, that is one of the $90 dollar wonders :)

I steamed the handle to open the cracks fully, sealed them with Super Glue, and finished the handle with Minwax. It is an awesome performer.

I think you and I were reading that same thread over on the frugal squirrels at the time these were available, That was the knife that started all this buying. Hadn't bought one in years before that. screaming deal at $90 shipped, still hate the sheath though.

Added my strops for Derek. I do need to fill the 4" spots but i have a soft spot for a tweener length knife.

Got this one slightly used from a guy at work. I'm a real big fan so far. I've never been able to get a knife this sharp. It wasn't dull when I got it but not at all were I wanted it.
