  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What are you watching & why? (splain)

after an addiction to The Vikings concluded with watching the whole series, we're now on to The Norseman. Basically the same show, but with me and similarly twisted individuals writing the scripts

The book and original series were such a great part of my younger days.

If you're also in my age bracket or older (55+) you will fondly remember Carl Sagan's Cosmos series among many other science themed programs. There were only 3 big network channels back then, no VCR, no DVR, no YT, no streaming and certainly no computers for the masses, but the very little which we had to watch in terms of learning science was really great. I really learned a lot back then but of course I have also forgotten a lot since then :D

I recently watched The Men Who Built America, Frontiersmen on the History channel. It was pretty interesting, I enjoyed it.:thumbsup:

Yes I sure do fit in the 55+ 60+ category ;)
I've always been into science and science fiction. My favorite book of all time is Carl Sagan's The Dragon's of Eden. I read that back in the late 70's and a few times since and its a confirmation of a lot of my belief's.
Great read.
