What are you watching & why? (splain)

Watched this one again over Thanksgiving.

I need to watch that. A coworker gave me the DVD several years ago and I sort of forgot about it.

Christian Bale is so solid. I watch Equilibriam maybe once-a-year, same with 3:10 to Yuma. And I didn’t expect Moses to be as entertaining as it was.
And as long as we're putting great C. Bale performances on the list, let's add 'American Hustle.'

We started watching "Sherwood" on BritBox last night.

Interesting and convoluted in that British fashion that has become a hallmark of many of their shows.

Watched the Netherlands beat the USA in the World Cup earlier today 3-1.

The Netherlands scored ALL of the goals -- theirs and ours. LOL! 🤷‍♂️

Watching "John Wick I" for the upteenth time and I was wondering how many people he kills in the movie . . . 🤔

So, I looked it up and found the following article which says that he ONLY killed 77 people in JWI but killed 128 in JW2 and 94 in JW3.

See: How Many People Did John Wick Kill In His First Movie?

Something to look forward to when I watch JW2 and JW3 again. LOL! ;)

Watching DON'T F**CK WITH CATS the second time (first with wife) on Netflix ...she doesn't want to keep watching but can't stop

One of the most crazy and intense documentaries I've ever watched

Watched "Amsterdam" on HBO Max.

Why?

Nuff said.

I was excited to see this. It was released in theaters less than two months ago. And already streaming on HBO Max! You kids these days are spoiled. In my day, we would have to wait at least two years for the latest Star Wars movie to finally make it onto BetaMax.

And . . . now I know why it left theaters so soon.

What a mess! How can you make a movie that's this bad, with Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, John David Washington, Chris Rock, Timothy Olyphant (!), Margot Robbie, Rami Malek, Robert DeNiro (how many Oscar winners is that?), Zoe Saldana, Margot Robbie, Ed Begley, and Mike Myers???

Despite the prospect of watching two and a half hours of Margot Robbie, I could not make it to the end of this meandering überwoke mess.

Two stars out of ten. I'm in a generous mood.

On a more promising note, I read an article about how Margot Robbie sexually assaulted Brad Pitt during the making of "Babylon," which will hit theaters in a couple of weeks. Some guys have all the luck!
