What are you watching & why? (splain)

Just watched the 1st episode of "Tulsa King" -- Stallone's 1st TV show. I "love" it and looking forward to the next episode(s)!

Watched Andor up through episode 9. Fun show so far. I’m not what you’d call a “Star Wars fan” but I do think the original 1977 film was brilliant, and I enjoyed Rogue One well enough that I can completely see why they decided to make a spin-off series for Diego Luna.

Started watching another one of Neil Oliver’s Scottish history documentaries. He’s done several and they’re all very well-done.

That dumb stop motion Rudolph movie.

The greatest lesson that television taught me was from this show.

''People will treat you shitty until you're useful to them. Then you just forget about the previous bad treatment and let them use you until theyre finished. ''

TV was so great years ago. I'm glad I watched so much.
Always wondered about that message, "Yup, people will treat you like crap for superficial reasons like being a little different. But they'll also totally suck up to you for superficial reasons, like when someone with social status acknowledges/praises you".

Then I realized these were life lessons, prepping kids for high school and later life.

Xfinity advertised that it would be offering free access to HBOMax and other premium stations until 11/28.

So, I tried to binge watch "House of the Dragon" again but it was it was just a teaser.

HBO only let me watch the 1st episode for free and wants me to subscribe to see the rest. Well that ain't happening. 😡

Undeterred, I decided to begin binge watching The Power of the Rings on Prime again instead. 😉

As the lyrics say . . .

"THEN all the reindeer loved him . . . "

Moral of story: reindeer are just like people.

Just watched the 2nd Episode of "Tulsa King" and it's still holding up.

This week looks like a a set up for a potential love interest w/a conflict (she's a cop) who nearly ran out the door when she found out Stallone's character was 75 after she apparently enjoyed his company in bed. LOL! ;)

And now there's also a snake-in-the-grass who thinks Stallone's character is there to kill him (Staloone doesn't know he's there yet) and is sure to cause Stallone problems soon.

Watching Wednesday on Netflix ... follows Wednesday from the addams family as she goes to boarding school

I've found it entertaining , kind of dark comedy/mystery

Started watching Black Adam the other day. I fizzled-out about 1/3 of the way in. Picked-up where I left off and made it to about halfway. I just can’t finish it. It’s sad because I like Dwayne Johnson, generally. Jungle Cruise was dumb and fun and I would totally recommend that one. But Black Adam just left me bored and disinterested.
