  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What are your 5 Most comfortable production folders?

Here's a terrible pic :o of the production folders I'm finding comfy tonight. They are in no particular order.

1. Loveless City Knife
2. Emerson Commander
3. Microtech Amphibian
4. MOD Pointman
5. Emerson CQC13 Combat Bowie

Come to think of it the CQC13 is the most comfy of them all.

1. Spyderco military
2. Benchmade 942
3. Benchmade Ares
4. REKAT Sifu
5. Kirby Lambert folder by CRKT(comfortable, even if steel isnt greatest)

my 5 favs are as follows:

*spyderco Ti ATR

*emerson CQC8

*crawford kasper folding fighter

*crawford perfigo

*BM AFCK

Mines are:
1. Spyderco Paramilitary
2. Benchmade 710
3. Kershaw Spec Bump
4. CRKT M16 13Z
5. Spyderco Meerkat

The Manix and Dodo are two of the most comfy handles that I've ever held. I EDC a Native which is pretty darn nice as well.

spyderco manix
spyderco chinook 2
(not a favorite folder, but very comfortable)Gerber Gator
spyderco native
cold steel ultimate hunter

If you move on to fixed blades

Rat-3
crkt Cobuk
fallkniven F1
spyderco temperance
benchmade nimraveous

I could make a list, but for brevity's sake, I'll just say:

Any Spyderco with a finger choil. The exception would be the SPOT or Swick, which instead have finger holes, and are even more comfortable. The micarta SPOT feels like it was designed specially for me.

Here is my most comfortable. In my hand and in my pocket. It isnt' as grippy as one with G10, but to tell the truth, that is what makes it more comfortable for pocket carry. It's easier to take out of my pockets with grabbing the denim.

From the picture, It looks to me like that skull sticks out quite a bit. How does that affect grip? Or am I a moron and missing something about the skull?

I think it's just sitting there.

Looking back at it, I think your right. MAybe I shouldn't post on BFC when I've been doing homework all night.....

The knife and skull look damn cool though

1. BM 940
2. BM 921
3. BM 960
4. Sebenza
5. BM 556 Mini-Grip

Obviously, this changes daily.:D

1) BM 940
2) BM 710
3) BM 550
4) Buck strider Tarani 882
5) Spydie centofante 3

BM 940 might not be the most comfortable in the hand, but sur:D elly in my pocket !

In order:
Emerson CQC-10
Benchmade 520
Spyderco Police
Benchmade 525
Benchmade 440

I wish SOG would make a Vision with a drop- or spear-point. Then, I'd have to get one.

These are the ones I currently own:

Buck 110
Buck 560
Spyderco Endura 4
Spyderco Atlantic Salt
Gerber Gator

I no longer own one, but the Spyderco Military is hard to beat in the comfort catagory.

Well, of what I currently own:

BM 800/805/806
Spyderco Dodo
Spyderco Military
BM 710
BM Skirmish

I like big, well indexed handles (which usually means approx. 4-inch bladed knives) that I can control well.

Hmm i really dont have that many folding knives so.... I need to buy 3 more before i can have 5 favorites hehe
My favorite has to be the benchmade griptillian with the big thunmb hole. The wider rounder handle feels a little nicer than the squarish flat handle knives. Also rather pretty blade design.
I lost it but I really loved my ez-out from gerber. Got it back oh... 7 years ago when they were newer. Dont remember the steel they used back then but for the price it was a really comfortable knife

In no particular order:

-Spyderco Moran Featherweight
-BM 550 Grip
-Spyderco Native III
-Opinel
-Buck 112 with finger grooves

Hmmmm.... 5 most comfortable? (in no particular order)

For me:

1. Strider SnG

2. Spyderco Military

3. Sebenza

4. Benchmade 732 Ares

5. A toss up between my CF Harpy and Delica. (They're small, but they feel bettery than a lot of higher priced knives I have and I use them quite a bit. )

Most Comfortable:

1. MOD Mark II (without a doubt most comfortable handle)
2. Microtech Mini Socom Elite (light and flat)
3. Blue Bump
4. Spyderco Persian
5. Combat Elite RRF

Runners Up:
1. BM 710
2. BM HK Spearpoint (though the handle is just a touch to thick)
