  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What are your 5 Most comfortable production folders?

My new Cricket. I was worried that I wouldnt like the fit, since I have kinda big hands, buts its like a custom fit.

Also have to add I love SilentHunterStudios' sig about the dogs. All a man needs (IMHO) is a good knife and a good dog. A good partner isn't bad either.

I'd do a full list, but I don't have five folders I would call comfortable.

edited b/c I can!

1. Spyderco Calypso Jr. - STR mod
2. Spyderco Dodo
3. Benchmade Mini Pikal
4. BladeTech Mouse
5. Sebenza

Benchmade Griptilian

Benchmade 720

Benchmade Ares

Benchmade Presidio

Benchmade 710

:p ;)

1- Spyderco Endura
2- Spyderco Centofante III
3- Benchmade AFCK (Liner-lock version)
4- Buck model 110
5- S&W SWAT (Full size version with carbon fiber handle)

*I don't care if most folks on Blade Forums dislike #5, it's got the most comfortable handle out of all the others on my list.:)

1. Benchmade 850
2. Spyderco C25, Centofante I
3. Benchmade Mini-AFCK (Liner-Lock)
4. Spyderco Delica SS
5. Benchmade Leopard Cub

1. Swamp Rat rat trap.
2. Strider SMF
3. Benchmade 690
4. Benchmade AFO (original)
5. Kershaw chive
Here's a pic of my Strider SMF
StriderSMF03Small.jpg

Spyderco Yojimbo
Spyderco Lil' Temperance (can't wait for this to be resurrected)
Spyderco Dodo (ditto)
Benchmade Skirmish
Kershaw Spec-Bump

I also don't consider folders to be comfortable if they aren't grippy. This is why, aside from the Skirmish which still isn't too slick, I have textured G-10 knives listed. Otherwise, the Ronin would probably have a spot up there.

G10 is deffinitely the most comfortable handle material.

I don't understand how people think stainless is comfortable. It is so slick.

For me, the most comfortable production knives are really clear.
The Spyderco models designed by Ed Schempp.
The Benchmade models designed by Warren Osborne.

Both of these guys pay a lot of attention to how the hand will grip the knife during use.

Since some days there is a change - won't be the last:
1. Benchmade 850
2. Spyderco C25, Centofante I
3. Benchmade Mini-AFCK (Liner-Lock)
4. Spyderco Delica SS
New:
5. Lone Wolfe "City Knife" with snakewood scales !!

1. Spyderco Endura FRN
2. Spyderco Military
3. Emerson cqc 7
4. Emerson HD 7
5. BM 813

All time most comfortable in my case has to be the Spyderco Endura. Larger VG10 blade in a light, easy to carry knife, that's also affordable.
