What are your favorite beers?

My favorite beers ... at the moment anyway! ...

Shiner Bock (made in the hill country of Texas)
Young's Double Chocolate Stout
Mississippi Mud
German hefeweizens
Fat Tire

Yuengling! Try finding it west of pennsylvania though.
Miller Lite: the cheap staple
Hofbrauhaus: Same problem only crappy microbrews in alaska.

Does Yuengling have a reputation of tasting much different draft versus a bottle? I had it a couple of times on draft and I liked it a lot so when I was on vacation I picked up a case of it (you can't generally find it around me). Its really bad from a bottle. Either I got a skunked case or the draft just is better.

Actually Yuengling's is way overrated because a) it is the oldest brewery in the US, so it demands some sort of nostalgic respect, and b) it is a little better than Budweiser.

If you want a decent tasting American made lager (not getting into the overpriced craft brew level), try Adirondack Amber. It's technically an ale, but it is more or less a lager. Even Leinenkugel's (not even going to check the spelling) is better than the Yuengling's.
