I had it a couple of times on draft and I liked it a lot so when I was on vacation I picked up a case of it (you can't generally find it around me). Its really bad from a bottle. Either I got a skunked case or the draft just is better.
Actually Yuengling's is way overrated because a) it is the oldest brewery in the US, so it demands some sort of nostalgic respect, and b) it is a little better than Budweiser.
If you want a decent tasting American made lager (not getting into the overpriced craft brew level), try Adirondack Amber. It's technically an ale, but it is more or less a lager. Even Leinenkugel's (not even going to check the spelling) is better than the Yuengling's.
