What are your favorite edc budget knifes

I have 2, tried out a bunch that were literal garbage, Kershaw LE Link.....excellent knife! CRKT Swindle......great action on a $40 knife!
Lastly, serrated Spydie Pac Salt.....absolute beast of a cutter!!

Budget to me is around $50 or less.

Some of my favorites are:

Ontario Rat 1: ~$30
Spyderco Tenacious: ~$40
Kershaw CQC Series: ~$30
Kershaw Link: ~$45

Good call on the Swindle! I forgot about mine... stupid awesome for what it is.
 
I like the Kershaw Cryo. I agree about Victorinox Swiss Army knives; I own several; they are nice little knives.

Glad you had good luck with your Kershaw cryo, my cousin and uncle both had them and they fell apart as fast as a gas station special.
I would have never expected this, but I'm glad it's not a common occurrence.
 
"budget" is a very subjective thing. Two years ago it would be any knife under $10 to me. Now it is any knife under $100. God knows what it would be this time next year.
 
For me it would have to be the case sodbuster Jr cv and sak alox electrician love how theese two carry and slice.

I was just about to post a pic of a 940 and a PM2, (thought I better post true budget knives instead) so yeah, very subjective. ;)
 
I arbitrarily set the "budget" threshold at $30-35.
Many great tools in this range, to name a few of my favorites:

Kershaw Chill
ESEE Zancudo
Opinel
Higo No Kami
and of course Mora.

My all time favorite budget knife is Ontario Rat 1 - no contest.

Some others: Byrd Cara Cara 2, Real Steel H6, Kershaw CQC-9K, Ontario Utilitac II.

Honorable mention: Kershaw Thermite. Downside for me is AO.

Thanks for mentioning this. Real Steel is some of the best stuff out there for under $50.
I have the E571 and the E771 and they are two of my all-time favorite folders. They beat anything else in their price range.
