I'd say that framelocks are my favorite right now. And their popularity leads me to believe that I'm not alone.

So which ones are your favorites ?

I only have one, the ZT 0566. So I guess that would be my favorite.

I have too many to name individually. Those are brands that I have been satisfied with that are frame locks.

I like my old Gerber ridge more than the other few frame locks I have, but in general I don't like frame locks or liner locks because I'm a lefty.

Sebenza, just a classic. Inkosi, can't put this one down. My ZT 0452, just a great knife. Shows how a tough as nails frame lock doesn't have to be "overbuilt" and weigh a ton. Spyderco Techno, just something about this knife. It feels so tough and yet so small. I handled a DPX HEAT that had a simmilar quality. My ZT 0620, Emerson framelock ZT collab, just amazing. My lock bar on this one needs to wear in abit more for me to feel fully confident in this one.

Honourable mention to my SR1 and Lionspy. Both these came abit jacked up in the grinds, need to be reground.

I am dying to try a real Emerson framelock, like the HD-7.

There are so many good frame locks these days.

CRK Micarta 25, Medford Arktika, TSF Gorgon, MSC PT and Jibble(though I don't own one yet) and a CRK Umnumzaan so far.

I've had a pot full over the last decade. Lots of nice framelocks to choose from these days.
Some favorites.

Is it true Shirogorovs are milled and parts produced in China then assembled in Russia?

CRK Sebenza
Strider SnG
3" Hinderer XM-18 non flipper
Fellhoelter Kwerk & No One (customs)
Basically what I own. If I didn't like the knife a lot it didn't stay.

I like the Spyderco Ti Military a lot right now (non-fluted). It has beat out the Fluted Ti Military in my rotation as of late.

Also , my old Umnumzaan treated me well but is now serving my nephew. And I've been thinking of buying a large Sebenza21 but none have caught my eye recently.

Some Sebenzas I've seen seem to have a polished Ti handle. All but the lock part of the frame which looks to have a darker finish. Why is that ?

Simple, practical, inexpensive (without being cheap), useful, practical, un-fussy and the very opposite of attention-seeking: Avispa and Zancudo.

I have more expensive knives, but I'm not at all sure I have better knives - when thinking on the full meaning of "better".
