Not exactly sure what your ? is. The polished ti is used on their Unique graphic, computer generated graphics and most of their inlays(micarta excluded)-higher end models, and needed for the graphics, likely considered better looking and more sustainable for the inlays(wood inlays can't be reblasted with the wood intact). I would have to look up the reason for bead blasting the lock portion. I always thought it was due to the heat treat, but I believe there is another answer(just can't think of it at the moment)Some Sebenzas I've seen seem to have a polished Ti handle. All but the lock part of the frame which looks to have a darker finish. Why is that ?

Yes , that is my question. The actual locking part of the frame lock has that bead blasted finish while the rest of the Ti is polished. Looks a little odd to me. I was just curious as to what purpose it served.
