What are your favorite shorts to carry a knife?

Duluth Fire Hose Flex cargo shorts. Normally clip a knife to the loop on right side. I've dropped my billfold too many times from a front pocket. So now billfold and phone both go in the cargo pockets that have a velcro secured flap. These shorts have to be at least five years old. They hold up better than Carhartt shorts at least for me.

Whatever shorts I'm wearing... except "under shorts".

I usually wear Dickies cargo shorts, cause they are inexpensive and comfortable.
You dont have tactical underwear? The pair I have conveniently fits a TRC classic freedom just betwixt the cheeks.

511s Taclites are my favorite knife shorts. Been wearing them ever since they came out. Might have to try some of those Duluth Firehose shorts sometime. That’s where I buy my underwear. Might as well try their shorts.

I wear "convertible" pants with zip off legs. So, the shorts I'd wear are the same as the pants.

They're the Columbia Silver Ridge Convertible Pants which look like this:

These are the ONLY pants that I wear on a daily basis and I only wear something different if/when I need to "dress up" which isn't often anymore. 🤷‍♂️

I wear all kinds of shorts so that I can carry and use all kinds of knives.

Cliff's Notes version of this statement:

Aluminum or Carbon Fiber in 'running shorts'. Fixed or Titanium in Denim shorts. Or other heavier fabric.

I like making worn out jeans into shorts.

I have a pair or Pentagon shorts, no idea what the model is called but the pockets are nice and big, fitting even a Manix 2 XL and a phone in the front right pocket without them touching, and the back pockets come around enough toward the front (hopefully that makes sense to you) that you can carry a knife in them without sitting on it. Great shorts. When it's getting cooler I like to wear Engelbert Strauss cargo pants, don't think you can get those over in the USA ...

Tru-Spec 24-7 ripstop or 24-7 Ascent shorts work for me. Light enough for the heat, durable enough to last. Plenty of pockets.

College shorts when it’s chilly and linen shorts when it’s hot. Because of limited pocket capacity I have adapted to just carry something in my keychain that dangles (inside or outside) either from belt or seam of shorts if no belt is in use. I have heavier use knives at work.

Tru-Spec Original 24-7 is all I wear. If I can wear those shorts I wear the pants version. Around the house working out it’s whatever gym shorts I have clean.

was gonna show ya in a meme they still make those mens 1970s super short shorts still, but......decided not to......

Earning you my eternal gratitude. Thank you!

(You know when they say "Not that there's anything wrong with that"....well, there's everything wrong with that.) 😀

I don’t wear shorts.
Because I mainly wears jeans I can carry almost any knife so want.
That makes my life easier 🤣🤣😅

Probably the fore runner of daisy dukes, but for men, not a pretty site, only worse would be Speedos on a fat man. And you cannot hide a knife in those, unless clipped on the band and covered by a layer of flubber. 😜

Cargo shorts or the Columbia Silver Ridge convertible like mentioned above. Both great for packing a knife, cigs, lighter, and billfold.
