What are your favorite shorts to carry a knife?

I used to wear 5.11 Taclite Pro shorts, every day the temperature was above 23 degrees or so. I’ve since decided modesty is better served if I stick with the pants, but the pockets are identical. I tried a clone version that used to be sold by LAPG at one point, and the shorts were virtually identical. The pants had shallower back pockets without the diagonal seam, so they were basically useless for me, as my EDC muscle memory had already been firmly established. And if you don’t already think I’m a bit nuts, then wait until you know my full EDC load out.

The 5.11 Apex are my go to. Cargo shorts that don't look like cargo shorts. They make them in pants too. So shorts or pants, my setup is the same.

Yes, but may wind up cutting something important…..wait for it….your fat or the speedo itself, leading to a wardrobe malfunction. Yikes!!!

Nah it's fine, just get a small AKS-74 with that extra security thingie on the back. It's small and the button also needs to be pushed in deep, besides having to undo that security thingie.

Jeans or Tru-Spec 24/7 cargo pants. With jeans, my multi-tool or pocket knife rides in the watch pocket. With the Tru-Specs, it rides in the smaller cargo pocket on the right.
