What are your ZT wishes for the Blade Show 2014?

I agree Id love to see more colors from their G-10 like some blues, browns, greens, and other like earth colors. I know they have used few in past like 0561 and 0301 but want to see more.

How about a new version of the 0200 with a tougher steel and no recurve? Perhaps even a framelock version. Ideally, would also include the mods I made to the one below, but then I can always do those myself.

I would love to see that sans the wave!

Does THAT wave open bottles?

Can't say I've tried, but the knife flips, thumbs or waves open very nicely.

I hope folks noticed that I didn't just put a wave where the thumbstud used to be. I also got rid of the pointy bit at the front of the handle that added almost 0.5" of handle length for no discernible purpose.

Nice work. I was thinking of doing something similar to an 0700.

A Sinkevich designed folder. Blade with triple layered composite CPM D2 cutting edge, Sandvik 14C28N in the middle part of the blade, and CPM D2 at the top of the blade. 3-D machined carbon fiber handle. Solid titanium backspacer. Sub frame lock mechanism. Flipper opening mechanism with KVT ball bearing system for smooth opening action. Something like this might even win an award!

More knives like this 0770CF I recieved today.....Guess that would be small bladed lite weight knives. Dont get me wrong I love my big heavy blades but after getting 0770CF in hand its nice to have something different so to say

I also would like to see more color (scale) variations of their various ZT knives, offered straight from the factory..

It would also be nice to see the ZT0566 go on a diet. I'm sure they could get this knife well under 5 ounces in weight without sacrificing the strength and integrity of the knife itself..

I would love to see 2 things.

1. A new beefier, longer and thicker along of the 0300 series. 4 inch long, 1/4 inch thick blade in S35VN or CPM-3V with a Tungsten Carbide or regular glassbreaker. Design wise, inbetween the 0200 and 0300. Really overbuilt, with jimping on the back, for when you use the reverse grip and in the middle, so your thumb wont slip. Doesnt need to be a flipper. Something that screams TANK and UNBREAKABLE.

2. Something like the 0121. A 4-5 inch blade, 1/4 inch thick with a wide blade in CPM-3V. A short, stout blade which wont break even in the most dire situations. I loved the 0121. I truly think that this was and is, along with my Fallkniven PRK, the perfect urban survival blade.

ZT should shift its resources to expanding its current "limited edition" models and re-release them as part of its standard lineup. The 0777, 0888, and 800M390 should be released as part of a standard, higher-end line up. I would be more likely to purchase ZT knives if it increased efforts to meet consumer demand and sell to high-volume dealers that favor fair distribution models.
